Using Wavelet to Analysis Blast- Induced Seismic Wave

Blast-induced seismic wave is very important to theory study of structure damage and stability analysis of corresponding geotechnical engineering; however it is not well solved. Based on measured data of Lafarge quarry, shortcoming of traditional analysis method is pointed out. Wavelet analysis method is presented to describe spectral characteristics and energy distribution of blast-induced seismic wave. The wavelet analysis method is better to distinguish initiation time of millisecond delay detonator, and phenomena of superposition and cut of seismic wave by different delay detonators were found. The results of this study put good foundation for structure protection and design of corresponding geotechnical engineering.
